Seeking information on a couple of old places in GB-W,mainly for curiosity's sake. I grew up in Sagwa but didn't learn about either of these places until reading (and subsequently purchasing) Suzanne Sutton's book Westfield:A History Told by Residents.

1.Backlands/Finley Settlement. According to this was a community in Ononette that was settled in the 1800s but was gradually abandoned for property closer to the river. Also possibly destroyed by the 1921 Fire.

2.The Old Kirk Church that stood on the hill in Nerepis where the intersection between GB-W and Welsford meets. There's a small cemetery in the area that contains mostly Godfr(e)y and MacDonald stones.
