Single Board Computers

Hi all,

I am new to the SBC world and I got interested in them through an introduction via YouTube videos by others who know more and post content that I happened upon, such as videos from ETA Prime.

Anyhow, I purchased a SBC in the hopes of retiring my Smartphone from double duty as my go to computer because it is now a few years old and I would like to refurbish the phone with a new battery and screen protector. Much cheaper than buying a new phone in my opinion.

So, now that I have the SBC, I am having difficulty understanding the steps to install an OS to this board. I have downloaded several OS's to use, but so far I have only managed to put an OS onto a TF (MicroSD) Card and managed to boot to it. This is basically a computer that supports Linux/Android and so far I find the Owner's Manual difficult to understand because it was written in Chinese and the English version of the PDF is confusing me.

I do have experience with Windows and build and fix my own machines as well as install software, so I am not a complete dummy.

I am looking for someone with more experience in this area (Linux and Android installations) to help me with this.
