looking for a place to rent (one bedroom apartment or shared accommodation)

I am hoping to come to work in Ponoka at the Centennial Centre for Mental health and Brain injury. Please I need advice on how to rent a place (room or one bedroom apartment or even shared accommodation). I do not know anyone in this province but hopefully would like to make some friends.
