Pokemon Go Community in Black Diamond area?

Good Day. I hoped to meet other Pokemon Go people in Black Diamond on community day last weekend but didn't see anyone. I did even look up from my phone sometimes (really). Are there local players, maybe anyone interested in trading or "raid train" during raid hour?
