My great grandparents a son and a daughter left Scotland emigrating to Bloomfield Ontario Canada in 1924 both the son and daghter married while they were in Bloomfield and their mother died there in 1944 her last address Mill Street no number is given, I was looking for anyone or agency for example a library who has knowledge of bloomfield or their residents at that time the population , Obviousely it would be easier if i could give names to my ancestors but i am told not to post those details i look forwards to hearing back from someone. Ihave a couple of not brilliant photos taken at their back porch of a wooden house i will post those next time.

Clarice married Clifford Charles Dee, my great uncle from Gloucestershire UK who was a miner in Bienfait and both had emigrated from the UK. At the time of the marriage Clarice was living in North Portal, possibly with the Shoebridge family as Mary Shoebridge was a witness. Cliff and Victoria had 1 daughter.
I have extensive details of them both before 1926 both in England and Canada and their daughter in later life but the last reference I can find of Victoria Clarice is taken from the 1926 census.
Clifford died in Estevan hospital in 1932 and it is possible Victoria had at least 1 more child, another daughter.
Can anyone help me find what became of Victoria Clarice Dee please?
I have now searched the 1931 census but she is not there under that name and I cannot find a marriage but hearsay suggests she may have lived in Alberta around 1940.
Thank you.
I would love to know if anyone knows who built the house at 1302, who lived there and any other interesting facts. It would be wonderful if I could find an old picture.
If you have lost a ring in uxbridge within last 2 or more years email me with a description and maybe I have found it but you have to describe it to me.
I have been plumbing for over 25 years. I have run across these stainless steel kitchen sinks a number of times. This is the first time I have needed to replace the drain on one. they don’t take your normal basket strainer assembly but do use a regular basket strainer plug. The sink itself drops down into a cup at the drain very similar to the cup on the basket strainer and just has the Center piece of the basket strainer in it. I have no idea what they are called. Can anyone tell me where I could get a replacement one?
