Retirement ni Wallaceburg
Hi all. I am currently living in Burlington Ontario but am strongly considering moving to Wallaceburg to retire. I was born in Chatham but moved to GTA very young. Lived in Thamesville for a bit before moving to Toronto area.
It is busy noisy and busy here now and Wallaceburg seems friendly and quiet. I have been to visit twice and really like it. I am a male single senior ( 65 ) so would be looking for a small house or 2 bedroom condo. Close to downtown.
This won't be until next year, maybe the year after. I don't know WB that well so am wondering where I might look at. I saw some condos on Montgomery that looked ok and were well priced as well as several small houses Emily Street area etc. I will be looking for a good local realtor to help me on that end, I have a realtor here but as I mentioned this is down the road. Are there areas I should avoid? Or seek? Any help would be appreciated! John
